Moving from the deep Amazon rainforest to Washington D.C. and back, Spears From All Sides follows the battle between big oil and the native Waorani people in Ecuador. It is a dramatic story of deception, brutality, betrayal, and in the end hope.

Christopher Walker is a multi award-winning producer, director of documentaries. Born in New Zealand he grew up and worked in Australia before relocating to the UK and then the US to continue his work, which has taken him around the world many times over. His latest film SPEARS FROM ALL SIDES, a feature length documentary on the impact of oil drilling in the Amazon – has already won ten major Awards including Best Documentary in Environmental film festivals in Poland, Mexico and India, and takes Chris back to the Amazon community he filmed with 25 years earlier.
