Ivo Sedlacek – Pavel Sedlacek
Ivo Sedlacek is a world renowned musician and for many years his music has been widely considered to be some of the most inspiring and influential in its genre. Not only a music maker, also an instrument maker, Ivo builds his spherical violins, flutes and special string instruments.
A long time ago, Ivo and his son Pavel Sedlacek started playing together.
From classical guitar, Pavel gradually mastered many other musical instruments till he found his true musical gift – handpan.
Their connection and their mutual attachment to their instruments has lead to a sound more and more engaging and ethereal over the time. Many listeners share the view that it is something deep and inspiring; something they’ve never heard before.
Ivo and Pavel started playing concerts at home (Czech Republic) and over the years, they have performed for audiences through Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, Taiwan, Japan, Namibia, and many more.
Everywhere, audiences experience something very special: sometimes subtle and ethereal, merging into silence, while other times uplifting, virtuosic and dynamic. Every concert presents a unique aural mosaic of a beautiful flowing music that is being born in every moment.
