An invitation to experience what is ‘precious’ to locals

Precious is an exhibition ‘for locals, by locals’… and the Arts Hub invites you to come and experience the objects and stories being shared by more than twenty Newstead locals. It’s part of Embers, our July-August Winter program designed to warm up your winter.

Exhibition dates: Sat & Sun 16-17 & 23-24 July, 10am – 4pm

The Arts Hub invites you to enjoy this exhibition of us – our community. Locals have been looking in the back shed, or under the bed for treasures that have special meanings to them – and then to share the story about what makes it ‘precious’.

It’s part of Embers, our July-August Winter program designed to warm up your winter. Exhibition dates Sat & Sun 16-17 & 23-24 July.

It’s an exhibition of the remarkable and the everyday: family heirlooms, collections, things created or crafted, art and photographs, strange objects, curios, toys and important documents. You can even see the Magic Monkey strut his stuff doing multiplication tables!
