Captured Moments

A series of photographs by members of MAPS

Every photographic image captures a moment – even a long one or possibly combined ones – but this is the unique feature of a photograph versus other artwork. Sharing a digital photo is usually also momentary – a quick look and a “Like” and scroll to the next image. A printed photo however invites a longer look. The eye can wander around the image, appreciating the composition, exploring the detail. A print is always on display. It can be re-visited and appreciated often.

For this exhibition club members each have chosen two of their images that they would like to have as a print, because they are special to them. Perhaps the title could be “Captured Special Moments”. It is a privilege to share these moments with you, and we hope you enjoy them.

About the Artists
